Wolf Blass Gold Label Shiraz|Australian Red Wine
Wolf Blass Gold Label Barossa Shiraz Australian Red Wines (禾富巴斯 金牌 設拉子 澳洲紅酒) is sourced carefully from low-yielding vineyards across the Barossa Valley, which expresses intensity and rich, bright fruit character. Gold Label Shiraz is blended with Eden Valley Shiraz for the supplement of fragrance, elegance and subtle spicy notes. Barossa Shiraz and Eden Shiraz have done the maturation in 85% seasoned and 15% new French oak for 18 months, enhancing complexity and texture to produce a fine and balanced red wine. To produce the Wolf Blass Gold Label range, Wolf Blass winemakers select fruits of distinctive vineyards of South Australia to create a collection of fine & elegant wines that showcase both regional and varietal excellence, "Terrior". It has smooth mouthfeel with intense dark berry, plum aromas, hints of spice, concentrated palate with bright dark fruit, subtle tannins and lingering finish. It is a good quality red wine, enjoyable on release and will develop with 6 to 8 years careful cellaring, with grilled, barbecued red meats. As a daily wine, wedding wine or other occasions, it offers value for money, one of the famous Hong Kong supermarkets red wines.
Normally, Hong Kong Supermarkets (ParknShop/Wellcome) sell Wolf Blass Gold Label President’s Selection, which is different from Wolf Blass Gold Label Barossa Shiraz (Hong Kong Duty Free Shop Only). The quality and price of the President’s Selection Gold Label range is between Wolf Blass Yellow Label and Wolf Blass Gold Label Barossa Shiraz & Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon. Under Australian wine laws, all wine labels carrying a GI (Geographical Indications) name must comply with at least 85% of single vintage, grape variety and region, to showcase regional and varietal excellence, also for the indication of wine's origin and protection of region name.
【JH 91】James Halliday 91 Points Vintage 2015|Australian Wine Companion
A dashing vermilion, verging on opaque, this is plush, full feathered shiraz. Spread across a regalia of saturated dark fruit flavours, anise and peppery spice, handling across a combination of seasoned and new French oak imparts some tannic resolve to the gushing fruit. Eminently satisfying.
