The Macallan 12 Year Old Sherry Oak Single Malt Scotch Whisky

(Scotch Single Malt Whisky) The Macallan 12 Year Old Sherry Oak (麥卡倫 12年雪梨桶蘇格蘭單一麥芽威士忌) bottling is fantastic and often had older malts put in on top to flesh out the vatting. It is bottlings like this one that helped cement Macallan's legend. Leafy tobacco notes with generous green fruits, dusty minerality and bags of figs, resin, cocoanut, coal, delicate wax and sultanas. A truly great whisky. You only have to look at the colour of this old 12 Year Old Macallan to see why these old bottlings are so sought after. This quality of sherry cask just doesn't exist these days. A luscious, aromatic, concentrated and complex dram that speaks of an long lost style of whisky making.
