Description
Grosset Gaia 2014

This 25th release of Grosset Gaia is produced from cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc grown at the rocky, isolated, wind-swept two hectare Grosset Gaia Vineyard. There are restrained, brooding almost briary, aromatics with violet notes; fine structure with a firm backbone and pleasing supple blackcurrant and bramble flavours; well-integrated, gently gripping tannins that are long and ultra-dry.

An elegant, savoury blend of cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc, the vineyard’s altitude imparts a uniqueness to this wine. ‘…a model of consistency.’ James Halliday (Weekend Australian).
