Description
Chateau Peyre-Labade 2014

“The beautiful landscape and the unique character of the wine were a source of inspiration for the great painter Odilon Redon.”

The Chateau Peyre Labade is technically owned By Eric Rothschild’s family member, Benjamin de Rothschilds but is run and operated by the combined Lafite team, by many considered the best wine making team in the world. This famous Chateau was once in the hands of the famous 19th century painter Odilon Redon and he painted most of his famous works of art at this Chateau.

Although located on the Bordeaux left bank the wine is predominantly made from Merlot with about 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc in the mix. Worth waiting a few years by laying down in your cellars and can be kept until 2030.
